For Abigail Folger - more then a Manson victim
In 1969 on this sad day we lost beutiful people . People who made differences during their life .If their live would not have been cut short and taken away this world would be a better place for anyone whom they came in contact with .
They would have more time to make more differences by doing good deeds as they did.
I want to talk about Abigail Folger .
Of course all people that lost their lives in this or any other crime should be valuated remembered we are the ones that can give them a voice, moreover we must give them voices .
Still this time i want to focus on Abigail .
Why Gibbie ?
In a way i see a lot of her in me .I need to humble myself and apologize if this sounded proud and pretentious , but i feal we would get along ..... if i had met her ....
Her introspecive , shy ,helping nature is something i can see within my core .....i hope i am not the only one who has this feelings .
That is why i admire her .
I also want to grow in these qualities am sure you want that too.
I would like to be what she already has been ..a kind person
.
She already placed her energy in making a difference with her kindness .
I can not skip another person who left her mark and impact on me .As well as Gibbie this female person left this world too young you may heard her name before - Rachel Joy Scott
She was the first victim of Columbine High School shooting occured in Colorado in 1999.She was an ambasador of kindness World owes her so much .
The same is with Abigail we owe her so much .
Lets work together in order to move her name as far away as we can from her killers ,and have a healthy eyes to see who she really was .
If we stop talking about her from the crime prespective alone she would have her soul back .Focusing on the crime alone we steal her soul and humanity away from her once again .
If we would have her poems , art , paintings published we would not have a victim but a person . A poet , a painter ....
Of course one must respect her family who suffered so much
They are very private and that is fine everybodies right is to be private .
With publishing her art she would have had a voice , a voice of her own and she would have been known to public not only as a victim and we so owe her that .
Of course i do not demand anything of anyone that is not my call.
I will not lie being interested in her work ,,one is always interested in anything involved in a person one admires to, i am no different .
Art can save lives ,her art would also saved lives and had an impact on others regardless her demise .
Art is always a legacy .
Never mind if publishing never occures , we will always remember her , be inspired by her , admire her qualities .
World of today needs people like her and Rachel .
The valueble teaching role models .Teachers of philiantrophy
Teachers of kindness .
It is up to us to follow her footsteps , to teach others about good sides of Gibbie and inspire them to do the same .
Abigail Folger will never die ... forever in our hearts ....
