I did this same race last year but I also ran more frequently. I've gone as far as 7 miles this year. I instruct 2 weekly group power exercise classes(strength training) and I instruct Zumba a few times also. The heat lately has put a hold on some of my long runs. I have Wed, Thur, left to prepare because Friday I know I should rest before the race. Any suggestions?
