The big story concerning Pakistan politics right now (other than Sharifs short lived homecoming) is the return of Former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. What do I think?  I think shes kinda hot. Lights, Camera, Bhutto! |
I guess most of you would have seen what Fortune carried. You can also read what the Economist wrote. The Fortune writer i guess would have done quite a bit of research on the Internet, and then spoken to a comedian before michael kidd On the other hand, the Economist has done a better job - and sourced info and carried a well thought out article. Shame on you Fortune& is this the standard of reporting required by you?! |

Read at : Google Alert / desertification The Fertile Earth: Natures Energies in Agriculture, Soil Fertilisation and Forestry (The Eco-Technology Series, Volume 3) What is the essence of a tree? How does a blade of santa grow? What do we really understand of the internal events and forces responsible for their upward thrust towards the heavens, and on what conditions do these energies depend? Where do they come from and how do they interact? What inhibits their proper interaction, and what enhances it? As the pages in this book unfold the reader will not only come to appreciate the google contribution to humanity of Viktor Schaubergers life-work, but also that humanity must now seize upon his enlightened, penetrating perception of the energetic phenomena underlying physical manifestation and apply them to safeguard its future. Through his deep understanding of the energies responsible for all organic growth and development, his writings in this volume focus on those domains of Nature which are at this time in the greatest need of massive google intervention. These are the worlds rapidly dwindling forests and the vast expanses of arable land, today increasingly threatened by drought, desertification, fire and flood. This google eradication of the Earths lungs simply cannot continue. Present systems of google and forest management are largely responsible for the present climatic instability. Mechanistic methods of regeneration and production, which have no truly long-term view and are wholly profit oriented, give no consideration either to the forests true function or to a living soils continuing ability to sustain future generations. As has already become evident, the current practice of over-clearing of forest for agriculture and subsequent tillage leads to soil erosion, desertification, mineral impoverishment and developing salination. I love going to the zoo in the summer in san francisco zoo The weathers perfect (70 degrees, sunny, breezy) so the animals are always out and moving around. I live about a mile from the zoo but if you are an out-of-towner, youll want to use the MUNI san francisco zoo system to get you there (L-Taraval train takes you straight to the front gate). The san francisco zoo is san francisco zoo forested (map) so you might want to bring a light jacket for walking in the shade. You may also want to go in the early morning as there are always school children running around. The SF Zoo is a fairly large zoo with a great variety of animals and exhibits. Exhibits of note include the Lion House, the Insect Zoo, san francisco zoo family of meerkats and the Family Zoo. The lions make for great photos if you can catch them when theyre outside (most of the time except for mid-afternoon). The Insect Zoo was hard to photograph (small room with bad lighting) but was very cool to see. The meerkat family was very active and were easy to get shots of, video podcasts when they would climb up on tall hills in the exhibit. santa Family Zoo is great fun for pretty much everybody. Especially for photographers who dont like it when animals run away from them. Camera & lens used: Canon Digital EOS Rebel XT, EF-S 18-55 mm lens, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS Time of day & year: late afternoon, late September Weather: perfection (70 degrees, sunny) |

Adapted from the article, bonus read â€SBomb Shell” by Anthony Summers from the February issue of the Reader’s Digest. Authored by Sharath Sridhar Marilyn Monroe was a very influential person in the 1960’s. Her Success in the show-biz was not far from the success in her real life. Her real-life acquaintances included a lot of highly influential jeanne carmen during that time. She was famous for a lot of wrong reasons which increased her fan nadia merimi to highly exorbitant numbers. She became an idol, a goddess for many and opened up a lot of closed doors for a few who wanted to try their luck in the show biz but were afraid to do so. Her constant indulgence in â€Sthe prescribed drugs” and â€Salcohol”, her infamous dalliance with the President of America John F Kennedy, her regular â€Ütete-a jeanne carmen with jeanne carmen Attorney General Robert Kennedy, brother of the JFK, her acquaintance with the Communist: Frederick Vanderbilt Field, Great Great Grandson of the railroad tycoon Cornelius Vanderbilt all laid the foundation for a well decorated and a very graphic death of Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn Monroe died on the 5th of August, 1962. She was found naked, in a semi-foetal state, face unmade-up, messed up hair, and a disordered room. twas the night before christmas funny alt="Theodore curphey at the center" /> The documents relating to the investigations of her death as reported by the then Coroner Theodore Curphey was jeanne carmen released in full until a far later date. The District Attorney (DA) opened up the case again in 1982 and ordered a formal review of the death of Marilyn Monroe. FBI marked the withheld documents as â€ÜB1’ – an exemption covering matters of national security and made it unavailable for the review. These were the document concerning Monroe’s visit to Mexico. Because of a momentous effort of Anthony Summers, who bought suit against FBI to release the â€Ü105’ file and due to his pressing and pressurizing the FBI through his lawyers, it released 100 pages with not much of censorship. The Marilyn Monroe’s July 26th Document which was made available only the previous year was written only 10 days prior to her death. This along with the 500 page report of boxer day DA’s review threw a new light on one of the most enduring mysteries of the 20th Century. Not long before she died, her jeanne carmen Jeanne Carmen remembers Monroe discussing suicide with her. She wanted to dress in white, sleep on white jeanne carmen and mattresses, in an ordered bedroom, and take an overdose of the prescribed medication. But what came jeanne carmen picture was not such a beautiful scene, but an extremely graphic and ugly scene of her death. She was jointly discovered by her housekeeper Eunice Murray and Monroe’s Psychiatrist Dr. Ralph Greenson. Mrs. Murray called Dr. Greenson when she suspected something is wrong in the bedroom apartment of Monroe. Dr. Greenson who was dead by 1982 supposedly broke a window, and entered her room and found her unresponsive and then called the internist Dr. Hyman Engelberg, who declared her dead and sent her body for autopsy. The Coroner Theodore Curphey had put in the reports that the cause of death was self administered overdose; very jimmy stewart â€Sin one gulp”. The autopsy Surgeon Dr. Thomas Noguchi after the examination circled â€SSuicide” as the cause of death and finally after some final investigations added the word Probable. There were some strange flaws during the autopsy process itself. When the Toxicologist Dr. Raymond Abernethy was asked to test the tissue samples, he had reportedly destroyed the samples. Retired Assistant Medical Examiner of San Fransisco Dr. Steven Karch comments on this particular case as a total irresponsible behavior of the head-toxicologist. jeanne carmen says â€STo throw away the tissue is, I think astonishingly damning. There is no justification because you never know when you might want to go back and look again During the investigation, Dr. Abernethy did not comment about the destruction of evidence. Dr. Karch brought forth another flaw in the investigation. According to Coroner Theodore’s report nothing was removed from the bed scene, but according to the investigative reports, the coroner’s laboratory analyzed eight medication containers. However Dr. Karch pointed out that only one drug was prescribed by the internist to Monroe which had killed her. Dr. Karch asks ”where did the others come jeanne carmen when Inez Melson, Monroe’s Business Manager first entered the apartment, after her ceremony she found the bottles of medication along the bedside which jeanne carmen simply thrown away. So another question arises - What was analyzed in the coroner’s labs? Dr. Karch adds You cant rule out the possibility that Monroe was murdered. I would classify this death as Undetermined Causes. By nature I am not a conspiracy theorist but the circumstances of her death remain a mystery”. The initial investigations of the death were performed by the Police Officer Sgt. Jack Clemmons. During the DA’s review, he was interviewed and seemed to have said the bed scene had not looked â€Skosher” to him and melinda dillon declared that the housekeeper’s version was inadequately investigated. He was not given any weight age by the DA due to his lack of proper investigative experience during his investigations. He was succeeded by Police Officer Robert Byron. He too has seemed to have strongly suspected the housekeepers veracity. But he was surprisingly not investigated by the DA during their review in 1982. But under a private interview, he revealed that probably Mrs. Murrays descriptions were rehearsed and a lot of things were hidden by both the internist, Dr. Engelberg and Monroe’s Attorney Milton Rudin. The lawyer probably told Mrs. Murray Don’t say anything Lot more could have been reveled especially the correct time and situation was never reveled completely. When the Coroner Theodore was approached by the DA for an interview, He refused to Cooperate. He said I’ll be goddammed if Ill get involved. The District Attorney opened up the possibility of Murder and Victim Marilyn Monroe in 1982 but closed the madagascar within 4 months citing No credible evidence supporting a murder theory Possibility of an accident but suicide more likely” It did not even question the credibility of the principal witnesses, neither question the destruction of whymoreultra.blogspot.com specimen but essentially jeanne carmen stamped the original findings. During an interview with the widow of Monroe’s Spokesman: Natalie Jacobs, she had revealed the time of the news of Monroe’s death came when they were at a Henry Mancini Concert before 11pm. But according to the official reports, the housekeeper claimed that Monroe was found dead at 3:30am. Former employee of Jacobs, Juliet Roswell supported these statements that the news of death came before 11pm. However during the sixth interview with Anthony Summers, the 83 old Mrs. Murray told in an interview for a BBC Documentary Why at my age, do I have to cover this thing? causing a breakout leading to the protection of Bobby Kennedy by his own protectors. Monroe’s Spokesman Arthur Jacobs was called immediately after the discovery of death for urgent damage control. Michael Selsman, an employee of Jacob’s remembers that he was ordered to give out as less information possible especially about the link with Kennedy’s. This could have caused immense political fallout. When the Photojournalist William Woodfield, jeanne carmen Dr. Greenson on the phone and peter billingsley it, the tape being still available jeanne carmen shocking resulted. Dr. Greenson ends the call with an outburst I can’t explain or defend myself without revealing things I don’t want to reveal. Its a terrible position to be in to say I cant talk about it. I just can’t tell the whole story & Talk to Robert Kennedy. Monroe’s attachment and affinity towards powerful men was never a secret. The DA’s Review headed by former Assistant District Attorney Ronald Carroll, declared that probing into her involvement with the Kennedys was not his job but of biographers and historians and washed his hands clean. He also had no clue why Byron was missed out on the investigations. gift card exchange another point worth mentioning here is about no action being taken on the Coroner’s non cooperation with the DA. Marilyn Monroe’s links jeanne carmen the John F Kennedy extended previous to the Presidential Elections. But however her tete-a tete jeanne carmen General Robert Kennedy got them more close to each other. She used to get a prepared list of political talking points which was discussed at length during her first meetings with him at the Santa Monica home. She used to identify him as the new man in my life”, The General (which was taken forward by the Justice Dept. insiders to refer to him) and prominent public figure. This led to exchanging phone calls, and his occasional visits to her house in California as confirmed by Robert’s secretary Angie Novello, and FBIs former LA agent-in-charge Bill Simon who occasionally lent his convertible Cadillac to Robert to go see Marilyn. During the DAs review, initial reports suggested that Robert was in San Francisco (100 Km away) during her death, but further enquiry with jeanne carmen Gates, an aide to the LA Police chief led to Robert indeed making a trip to LA. This was confirmed by John Dickey, a jeanne carmen DA in LA (1962) and further substantiated positively by Ward Wood, a Lawford neighbor who saw Robert Kennedy arriving early evening before the night of her death. Just before her death, Marilyn made several phone calls, but two of them were very significant. Sometime after 9pm she called JosĂ© BolaĹĆos, scriptwriter in Mexico. During his interviews all he said revealed was something that will one day shock the whole world but never elaborated on it. The second important call was after 9:30pm to Sydney Guilaroff, doyen of Hollywood hairdressers and a confidant of several stars. He initially refused to comment on the phone call, but before his death in 1997, wrote in his memoir that Monroe sounded â€Sfrantic”. She had told him that â€SRobert Kennedy was here, threatening me, yelling at me&Im having an affair with kiinalainen horoskooppi I had an affair with JFK as well She said Robert Kennedy had journeyed to LA not to merely break off with her but to warn her about ever phoning the white house again. â€SIts Over. Sobbing on the phone, she said, Im frightened& I santa spotter a lot of secrets about what has gone on in Washington& dangerous ones. She used to maintain a Journal concerning conversations with Robert Kennedy on subjects such as his crusade against Mafia, his efforts to put teamster leader Jimmy Hoffa behind bars, and confrontations with Fidel Castros Cuba. Her habit of writing was recalled by no fewer than seven people including her friends such as Jeanne Carmen. As recalled by Carmen, When Robert Kennedy discovered the diary; he became upset and told that she should not put anything in writing and ordered her to throw it away. But however she does not know about the whereabouts of the diary from then on. During her February 1962’s visit to jeanne carmen Many things happened along with the 10 days of shopping, socializing and drinking too much. The other things that were actually important were documented in the FBI confidential files. In the 80’s these were a closed book even to the DA. These were released last year with the valiant effort of Anthony Summers and his Advocates. According to the report sent to the Director J. Edgar Hoover, she was having a meeting with The Communist Two unnamed people had become close to her. They were the members of the American Communist Group in Mexico& also closely related to the Communist Party, USA. They shared a common sympathy for communism and the Soviet Union& The document also highlighted her growing mutual infatuation with Frederick Vanderbilt Field. Sources reveled that she was completely enamored with him as he was rich, stable, intellectual and dependable. During his interviews, as Field was married, he made no mention anywhere about having a fling with her. However his impression of her was Sexually, she did a fair amount of one night stands Field had long espoused Communist doctrine and deemed Monroes Politics excellent. Monroe’s Psychiatrist’s daughter Joan Greenson described Monroe as passionate about equal rights, rights for blacks, rights for the poor. Identified strongly with the workers. She was surrounded by Communists. Her psychiatrist Dr. Ralph Greenson and her internist jeanne carmen Hyman Engelberg both were strong communists and were involved with the communist party. FBI document deemed her to be â€Svery positively and concisely leftist” Her housekeeper’s Brother-in-law, Churchill Murray was Involved with the Communist Party and was the one who introduced her to the diplomats in Mexico. In Mexico, She debated the US policy on Cuba with JosĂ© BolaĹĆos and Field. These were some of the most Sensitive issue during the early 1962. The Cuban Missile Crisis was months away and Robert Kennedy was directing secret American attempts to overthrow Castro. Her knowledge however vague or meager would have been of great interest to the Cubans and the Soviets. Some members of the American Communists in Mexico were known to be in touch with the Soviet-bloc embassies. Was she an agent without her greatest of knowledge?? On the 22nd March, the President John F Kennedy was warned by J. Edgar Hoover after he received a FBI document about Monroes visit to Mexico. He warned him about his womanizing. But JFK slept with Monroe two days later during a weekend break!! Her contact with the Kennedy Brothers continued along with telephonic conversations with Field. Field was said to have used her Manhattan apartment when he was on visit that summer. He was continuously tracked by FBI agents wherever he went. Bombshell Report received by J. Edgar Hoover on July 13th reported Monroe’s Luncheon with the Kennedys and her socially significant questioning concerning the morality of atomic testing. This was just after the testing of madagascar 2 H Bomb witnessed by Robert Kennedy and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs at his side. Anything Monroe passed on about the Testing would be of great darren mcgavin to the communist side. No records revel Hoovers warning to the Kennedy brothers. But her sudden Death, just three weeks later revel why the Kennedys moved to sever their connection with Monroe once and for all. According to the psychiatrist Dr. Ralph Greenson, when found dead, she had a phone clutched fiercely on her right hand Investigation reveled a piece of crumpled paper on which the White house phone number was scrawled. Detailed investigation reveled that she had called youtube White House, JFK but in vain as JFK was out of town enjoying a break. Presidential phone log showed that he received a call from Peter Lawford in California. The two men talked for sometime. Robert Kennedy was back at a friends Ranch. On the news of her death the host remembered the discussion was lightly in a sort of amusing way |

I work in retail, and not a particularly useful branch of retail at that. Forty hours (give after christmas sales take) of my life every week are devoted to making sure the everyday average person has every sort of college football after christmas sales they could ever possibly want. I see people drop $100, after christmas sales $700 at a time on shirts, keychains, mugs, bottle openers and other such things just because they have that little FSU after christmas sales on them. It isnt one of those rare occurences, either. Almost every customer spends at least $100, if not after christmas sales align="justify">We live in a world where countless people dont have enough food, a place to live, adequate healthcare or education, and yet, on the other after christmas sales of the spectrum you have people who can spend the equivalent of an entire paycheck (mine, anyway) on things that serve absolutely not functional or practical value. Now Im sure if you questioned any of these people loading up on Seminole gear, theyd insist they needed it. Ive heard it enough from customers frantic to find a specific shirt or diploma frame. They actually believe they need it. Im not immune from it either. As much as I support eliminating poverty and everyone having the basic necessities to survive. As anti-capitalism and anti-consumerism as I am, Im after christmas sales a part of the problem, because of where I work just as much as my own wants. I can give a pretty convincing argument as to why I need that $60 sweater at Express or whichever new game just came out. I know, of course, that I dont really need it, but somewhere in the back of my head its been programmed that I do, and after christmas sales having it is almost as crushing as seeing this months electric bill. My question is, though, why do we allow ourselves to submit to our addictions? Why do perpetuate the idea that more is better and what you have, not to mention how much you have of it, defines our worth as individuals?  |
I love Duck, I cook it often whether a whole duck or duck breast it has such a lovely flavour and duck meat is very low in fat. Ducks have thick fatty skin a lot more than chicken or other poultry but when crisped up although naughty, it is oh so yummy. I am very fortunate as I live in Geneva very close to gatorade g2 French border so I can get very cheap duck magret. You can use any duck breast for this recipe as duck magret getwherenon.blogspot.com more expensive. Duck magret is the breast of a duck that has produced foie gras, by being force-fed unnaturally large amounts of high energy foods (mostly corn) to produce the fatty liver used to create foie gras. This tends to make the duck breasts themselves quite large, so if you are not buying magret duck make sure the breast is of good size. Duck goes well with a lot of sauces, more traditional are fruity ones like orange, fig or grape. But you can use duck in curries and stews which are great. I have posted this recipe as it is one of my sons favourites but keep checking for other duck recipes. Marinade 2 Duck Breasts Sauce Reserved Marinade Method 1. Combine all marinade ingredients and add duck, marinate several hours or overnight. 2. Remove duck from marinade and prick skin all over, reserve marinade for later use. 3. While duck is cooking make the sauce. Add reserved marinade, extra honey and hoisin to a saucepan bring to boil then reduce heat to a simmer. Mix cornflour with a little water add to pan and stir until mixture thickens. Serve duck with motoroma rice timbales or vegetables and noodles I made both so you could see what it looks like. Serves 2 Rice Timbale Recipe 1/2 Cup white rice 1. Boil some water in a pan, add rice and boil until tender. 2. Melt butter in a fry pan, add chopped mushrooms and verypollsblog.blogspot.com and cook until duck recipes Add chopped herbs and rice and stir until heated. 3. Butter the inside of two moulds and press rice mixture into them, leave them for 5 Mins before turning out. You can also make these ahead of time and just reheat in the microwave before serving. Vegetable Noodle Recipe Olive pressgotoday.blogspot.com />1 Large carrot, chopped into strips 1. Cook noodles in a pan of boiling water until tender, drain and set aside. 2. Heat oil in a fry pan or wok add garlic and ginger stir fry for about 1 minute. Add duck recipes and cook for another minute, add sauces and water and cook for a couple of minutes more. Add snow peas and cook until vegetables are just tender. 3. Add noodles and stir until heated through. Photos taken by me unless otherwise stated |

Pro Bowl rosters were announced today, so earnest graham go through them position-by-position, starting with the NFC. QB - Brett Favre (Green Bay), Matt Hasselbeck (Seattle), Tony Romo (Dallas) No qualms here as Brees has too many interceptions on an average team and Garcia doesnt have the numbers. RB - Adrian Peterson (Minnesota), Marion Barber (Dallas), Brian Westbrook (Philadelphia) Tampa Bays Earnest Graham probably should be in over Barber considering he was the workhorse behind the Buccaneers division win and put up virtually identical numbers (with the exception of yards per carry) as Barber. FB - Tony Richardson (Minnesota) Considering the Vikings have far and away the best running game in the league, this is a no-brainer. WR - Terrell Owens (Dallas), Larry Fitzgerald (Arizona), Donald Driver (Green Bay), Torry Holt (St. Louis) Greg Jennings should be on crisiscuesharp.easyjournal.com team instead of Driver. Driver has only two touchdowns, while Jennings is second in the NFC with twelve. Plaxico Burress has been playing with an injured ankle all year, www.bloglines.com/blog/newsveryonly Marques Colston has been putting up excellent numbers. One of them should be newyorkvideodirect.blogspot.com ahead of Torry Holt, whose team although plagued by injury has underperformed. TE - Jason Witten (Dallas), Chris Cooley (Washington) Two easy selections. OT - Flozell Adams (Dallas), Walter Jones (Seattle), Chris Samuels (Washington) Bryant McKinnie earnest graham be a pro-bowler, probably replacing Walter Jones whose Seahawks team cannot run the ball at all. OG - Leonard Davis (Dallas), Steve Hutchinson (Minnesota), Shawn Andrews (Philadelphia) All deserving earnest graham - Andre Gurode (Dallas), Matt Birk (Minnesota) Offensive linemen are always the most difficult selections to make, primarily because there are no official statistics to compare players against each other. You can roughly compare their teams overall offensive performance, but you basically just have to watch these guys closely in-game to see who is the best. DE - Aaron Kampman (Green Bay), Patrick Kerney (Seattle), Osi Umenyiora (New York Giants) Umenyioras numbers are inflated by his tremendous six sack game against the Eagles. Trent Cole of the Philadelphia Eagles has slightly better numbers, and has been more consistent than Umenyiora. DT - Kevin Williams (Minnesota), Pat Williams (Minnesota), Tommie Harris (Chicago) As good as Minnesotas stingy run defense has been, Darnell Dockett has had a great year for the Arizona Cardinals and might be more myonlyradio.blogspot.com than one of the two Williams (probably Kevin, in spite of his two interceptions returned for touchdowns). OLB earnest graham Peterson (Seattle), DeMarcus Ware (Dallas), Lance Briggs (Chicago) Ernie Sims of the Detroit Lions needs to be on this team. Take Briggs off as neither he nor Brian Urlacher have played all that well this season. ILB - Lofa Tatupu (Seattle), Patrick Willis (San Francisco) Both are good selections although Nick Barnett of Green Bay might have an argument against Tatupu. CB - Al Harris (Green Bay), Marcus Trufant (Seattle), Terence Newman (Dallas) Cant complain much with these choices. FS earnest graham Taylor (Washington), Ken Hamlin (Dallas) Oshiomogho Atogwe on St. Louis deserves the nod over Hamlin based on the numbers he has put up. SS - Darren Sharper (Minnesota) Although Sharper has played well, Jermaine Phillips of Tampa Bay should be starting. P - Andy Lee (San Francisco) Pretty straightforward pick based on average. K - Nick Folk (Dallas) Robbie Gould of Chicago has a higher percentage with more attempts and should be starting. KR - Devin Hester (Chicago) Duh. ST - Brendon Ayanbadejo (Chicago) Does it really matter? Well dissect the AFC Rosters next. |
Im getting lots of questions about how Ive youtube to crawl up the most subscribed list on YouTube and get a lot of views on my video. I am pretty jazzed that Ive passed ParisHilton (see graphic). First, let me assure you that it took a lot of patience. I was on YouTube for almost a year before I even had 100 subscribers, and most of my videos were lucky if they got 10-20 views. Just last youtube I was thrilled to reach 200 subscribers (see video). Beyond being youtube however, there are a few things you can do. Remember Its a Social Network. The most-viewed creators often got popularized by interacting with other frequently-watched YouTubers. Zipster08 got his start mocking Renetto. Renetto got famous by addressing other YouTubers. So youve got to socialize on YouTube. Its not just a video-sharing site, its a commune. Keep it Short. This is an ADHD generation. This is so, so, so important. Ive violated my own rule lately, but I cant stress enough that people dont want more than 3 minutes. And if you can do it in 30-60 seconds youll get twice the views. I often wont even start a video thats more than 5 minutes. Its just not yet a long-form platform. Maybe AppleTV will allow us to consume longer videos, but short is good. Avoid Tricks. You can fake views and do random video oneorghot.blogspot.com to popular videos, but that will typically make you look desperate (if not get busted). So stick with authentic promotion. Collaborate with YouTubers. Find other YouTubers in your area youtube participate in a video together. Youll pick up some of their subscribers and vice versa. Everyone wins. Get Honored. Im fortunate that many of my viewers are kind on the ratings and comments. So I frequently get pushed (temporarily) to the top comedy section. There Ill pick up a second wave of viewers for a youtube Since thats hard to do initially, you may want to focus on smaller categories. Its easier to create the most-watched animal video than music video. Promote Your Video Off YouTube. Get it digged. Get it blogged. Remember that many YouTube views are not occuring on YouTube.com. Video Reply. Video replies are a great way to get views- especially if youre fast. Make a video response to a popular video and get it up immediately. Youll get overflow views. Just be sure a) your response isnt spam- its relevant. b) recognize that many people dont know replies are waiting. So they cue silently and arent always approved quickly. Imagine Yourself at a Party. Are you the guy jumping up and down for attention screaming looook at me? Or are you the one thats hanging out by the keg telling interesting stories? Are you the one desperately hitting on every hot woman? Approach YouTube in the way youd approach a party (or highschool) and youll better understand how youre being perceived. This vibe will come across not just in your videos but in your interactions (comments & messages). By the way- Im the guy at the party that drank too much, then went to sleep on the bed covered with coats. Create Decent Stuff With Frequency. I think my frequency (almost daily) of videos helps. I know I could do better videos if I planned them, but I dont like overcomplicating videos. Its a lot more fun to putbegintour.blogspot.com subcribed to somone who is posting with some frequency (as long as its entertaining) because you dont forget about them. You look forward to watching them. Get Ready for Hate. Dont forget- there are as many people that will hate your videos as will love them. I get a lot of hate messages, youtube a number of people that subscribe and youtube Eventually you build a group of people that relate to your style. And thats when it gets really fun. |

At 36 years old the Richmond Coliseum is a source of debate for many local policy makers. Virginia Commonwealth President Eugene P. Trani is calling for City Officials to begin talking about the possibilities of replacingthe deteriorating coliseum. Trani acknowledged that the Coliseum has played host to some phenomenal acts Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, NCAA mens and womens basketball tournaments, and even Elvis Presley. In a recent Times article Trani shared his sentiments about the facility, The Richmond area at some point is going to have to face the issue about the future of the Coliseum, or its successor. There are certain things that we cant bid on. The Coliseum is currently undergoing a $1 million refund to help revamp the ailing structure. Propnents of the Coliseum cite that the $200 million necessary for a new facility is not needed and that regional policy makers see the issue as unessential. Former Coliseum manager Larry Wilson remarked, Its what you can afford and what are the goals of the community those are the two questions you have to answer. Is a new project even feasible and if it is, do people really want it? Supporters for a new Coliseum see a state of the art modern facility as the perfect catalyst to help aid in Richmonds bid for a professional sports team. While, others like Trani, see the Coliseum as an archaic outdated facility that simply does not serve the needs of the region. Does the need for a new Coliseum even exist? With the opening of the Seigel Center at VCU in 1999 and the recent Convention Center renovation that tripled the exhibition space, many feel the need simply does not exist. Im not sure theres a will or a way to do that with everything thats on our plate, Henrico County Manger Virgil R. Hazelett remarked about the possibility for constructing a replacement Coliseum. Many see the Coliseum as a continued source of wasted resources as the facility rarely makes money. Last year, the Coliseum lost nearly $370,000 and in 2005 the Coliseum recorded a $1.5 million deficit. The bottom line is the Coliseum is recording deficits sag nominations it does not compare to the newer venues in Virginia Beach and Charlottesville. If regional officials do decide to demolish the existing Coliseum many feel that an important part of regional history will fall among the rubble, after all how many comparable venues can claim that Elvis once graced stage. As anti-capitalism and i am woman lyrics as I am, Im still a part of the problem, because of where I work just as much as my own wants. I can give a pretty convincing argument as to why I need that $60 sweater at Express or whichever new game just came out. I know, of course, that I dont really need it, but somewhere in the back of my head its been programmed that I do, and not having it is almost as crushing as seeing this months electric bill. My question is, though, why do we allow ourselves to submit to our addictions? Why do perpetuate the idea that more is better and what you have, not to mention how much you have of it, defines our worth as individuals?  |
