I'm reading Danny Gregory and decided to start drawing everyday things. So I've started from my plate. You've seen this kind of plate before, they sell for a pound in charity shops. Yet it's so intricate, with flowers, acorn, berries, and a view of Salzburg. A whole journey into Autumn, Austria, etc. What an amazing experience out of a cheap plate!
