The little leaves (I think from a Rosemary plant) on the right side of this, barely in frame, created a blockage in the hose, which caused all of the little fluffbundles (left side) to build up and resulted in basically zero suction. After I cleared that up, the vacuum worked a lot better. Still not great, though. Judging by the sheer quantity of fluff built up in there, I'm guessing we've been using it with this blockage for a long-ass time, so I fear we've done lasting damage to the motor. The beater brushes on the bottom of it still worked, so if you didn't look particularly closely or really touch the carpet, it kinda seemed like it was cleaning because you got those nice neat "I've been vacuumed" lines on the carpet. Anyway, I'm going to add "Vacuum cleaner repair" to my resume. IMG 8168 March 14, 2009 LB ("Big") crushed up some goldfish (crakers), scattered 'em around nanny's floor, "Have to clean it up!"
