how to dress like a university girl in eight simple steps
step one: buy up to date boots (not uggs, this year it's the slim, black, suede boot)
step two: SKINNY JEANS (sucks if you have hips! no fashion for you)
step three: starbucks, sbucks, sbx, whatever you want to call it. plan on giving a tithe of at least 25% your total income (including what you get from mom&dad) to this corporation, and only realizing when you graduate that you could have bought a machine and saved thousands of dollars. (but then you couldn't carry around the cups all the time!)
step four: IPHONE. at your hip if you are not using it because it is your new bff. you're in college!!!! you have unlim text and data!!!!!!
step five: dark nail polish. now that you're not with mom and dad they can't tell you to take it off bc it looks gothic. it's chic.
step six: tousled hair. straight hair is so 2008.
step seven: slightly snarky look. practice it in the mirror. it's your newest accessory, and you love it.
step eight: northface. no comment needed.
optional steps: language modifiers, such as: besties, classy, trainwreck, hotmess, "i hate you" instead of "i love you", using lady gaga lyrics to title your facebook album of you falling over in front of a bar, dropping your fake id and sparking 10 new statuses (stati?) complaining about it.
(disclaimer: I'm not dissing these steps in anyway. I follow most.)

"When I say 'awkward,' y'all say 'silence'
Awkward...
Awkward...
Yeah."
Today was an overall good day. Alina and I switched shirts for the day. I traded my American Apparel "Legalize Gay" purple shirt for her UC Berkley shirt.
