213/365 - the whale. The Hartford Whalers this was one of my earliest christmas memories. this little tiny authentic starter jersey went down to my knees when i got it, and boy was i excited. i was a junior whaler growing up. i got to go to practices, and special events with the players. were talking Ron Francis, Kevin Dineen, Brendan Shanahan, Ulf Samuelsson, Sean Burke, and of course the great Mr. Hockey himself, Gordie Howe. i attended many a whaler game, and though they didnt win a whole lot, they were still my team to the end, and continue to be my team, as when they moved out of hartford, they became the Carolina Hurricanes, who are currently in the playoffs against the Bruins. so...
