Prema tome, sve njegove kasnije tvrdnje gdje nastoji obezvrijediti vlastito priznanje ne stoje, jer je on to u tri navrata napisao. Zašto danas piše pismo u kojem tvrdi da ste bili najdragocjeniji službenik Službe državne sigurnosti? On je ogorčen svojom sudbinom. Mene u tom pismu optužuje da sam jedan od glavnih krivaca zašto je on izručen i osuđen na doživotni zatvor pred njemačkim sudom. Šeks nije imao nikakvog utjecaja na njegovu zlu sudbinu. Prisjetimo se samo kad je, tri dana prije potpisivanja ugovora o pristupanju Hrvatske Europskoj uniji, Milanovićeva Vlada stavila prijedlog zakona u kojem je trebala onemogućiti izručenje Perkovića i Mustača Njemačkoj. Sabor je donio taj zakon, a tad je Karamarko, kao šef stranke, pozvao sve HDZ-ovce da napuste Sabor. Tad je došlo do velikog pritiska Europske unije i vlada se morala povući i predložila je novi zakon koji je omogućio izručenje Perkovića i Mustača Njemačkoj. Nakon toga je donesena odluka o izručenju. Perkovićev odvjetnik Anto Nobilo uložio je žalbu, koju je Vrhovni sud odbio. Nakon toga je bio pokušaj da zatraži od Ustavnog suda da odredi da je neustavna odluka o izručenju, ona je odbijena i Perković je izručen. Niti sam ja izručio Perkovića niti sam ga osudio. On je najodgovorniji, što piše iz obrazloženja presude, za svoje izručenje i za svoju kaznu doživotnog zatvora, jer je njemački sud ustanovio da je bio pomagač i sudionik u političkom ubojstvu Đurekovića. Stječe se dojam da je ogorčen zbog uvjerenja da ste mu trebali pomoći, jer je on pomogao vama. To je njegovo uvjerenje, ali ja njemu nisam mogao niti smio na bilo koji način pomoći. Je li tražio pomoć od vas? On je želio doći k meni s tom nakanom samo da me upozori da se treba držati Ustava. On je ogorčen još zbog jedne stvari, 3-4 mjeseca prije nego je izručen, ja sam u intervjuu Večernjem listu, rekao da sam '87. Kao da sam predosjećao pa nisam otišao tamo, jer da jesam, možda bih prošao na isti način kao Josip Đureković, koji je u toj tiskari ubijen, za što su Prates i Perković osuđeni na doživotni zatvor. Perković me zvao uzrujan, bijesan, rekao mi je da sam ga povezao s ubojstvom Đurekovića, a ja sam rekao da nisam. To je osnovni uzrok njegovog ogorčenja i njegovih razloga što mene sad u ovom pismu, koje je objavio Jutarnji list, gdje on demantira samoga sebe i tvrdi da sam ja bio glavni informator iz područja Osijeka, u tri navrata demantirao i opovrgavao, to je razlog što je on ogorčen na mene, drži da sam sudjelovao u njegovom izručenju i osudi. Jesu li pojedini dokumenti bili korišteni za osobne obračune? Taj rat dosjeima se vodi od početka stvaranja hrvatske države, od početka devedesetih godina. Zloporabljali su se i krivotvorili dosjei.
