EBAY MUSIC INSTRUMENT - MUSIC INSTRUMENT
EBAY MUSIC INSTRUMENT - CLASSICAL GUITAR TUNING PEGS - THE TRUMPET FAMILY.
Ebay Music Instrument
- A musical instrument is constructed or used for the purpose of making the sounds of music. In principle, anything that produces sound can serve as a musical instrument. The history of musical instruments dates back to the beginnings of human culture.
- "eBay" is a song and radio-only single by "Weird Al" Yankovic. It is a parody of "I Want It That Way" by Backstreet Boys. In it, the narrator describes how he incessantly purchases bizarre (and purportedly unneeded) items on eBay.
- Poodle Hat is the Grammy Award-winning eleventh album by "Weird Al" Yankovic. It was released on May 20, 2003. The album debuted at #17 on the Billboard 200. The album was released on an Enhanced CD.
- eBay Inc. is an American Internet company that manages eBay.com, an online auction and shopping website in which people and businesses buy and sell a broad variety of goods and services worldwide.
Squeeze Box Hero
Okay, just like everything I have, there is a story to this as well.
I'm a big fan of Weird Al Yankovich (if you knew me, you'd know) but I'm also a fan of Zydeco, Irish, and weird French accordion music. The hunt began.
I tried looking through ebay, music websites and everything I can think of until I came across an ad on craigslist. The asking price was $100 and since I saw how these things tend to go from anywhere from $500 to $1,200, I figured I had an awesome find. I get a hold of the guy and he said somebody expressed interest before I did, so that person got first dibs. Lucky for me, that person never got back to the seller, so I went to the person's home, made the transaction and was very happy! Went out to have a few beers to celebrate.
That was back in October of 2006. It's now May of 2008 and I'm finally getting myself together on the instrument. Ha!
Rome by Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi
Danger Mouse is at it again.
Purchased: eBay
I'm giving this jazz rules since it's almost like a soundtrack and not exactly a typical album. It's pretty awesome.
Anyways, the Rome album is a mixture of Danger Mouse and Italian film scorer Daniele Luppi. The music and production portaion is done by these two. All vocal work is done by Jack White and Norah Jones.
The concept behind it was to make an album based on the style of spaghetti western music. It's a mixture of instrument and vocal songs, which seems to add more to the soundtrack vibe.
This isn't your typical thing like Gnarles Barkley or even Broken Bells. If anything, I believe it to more like background music. Something subtle, soft, and builds a vibe.

How to read music for acoustic guitar. Vintage violin bass. Guitar notes
How To Read Music For Acoustic Guitar

- Acoustic Guitar is a monthly magazine published in the United States since July/August 1990 by String Letter Publishing. The magazine offers information related to acoustic guitars for players of all levels from beginners to teachers.
- sound is not amplified by electrical means
- "Music for Love" is an R&B song from Mario's third studio album Go!, which was released on December 11, 2007 and is the third official single. Mario announced on 106 & Park that "Music for Love" would be the third official single to be released in April 2008.
- (How To’s) Multi-Speed Animations
- A how-to or a how to is an informal, often short, description of how to accomplish some specific task. A how-to is usually meant to help non-experts, may leave out details that are only important to experts, and may also be greatly simplified from an overall discussion of the topic.

Interview With The Fling
The music scene is alive and well in Long Beach. The venues may have changed since the days of Bogart's, The Foothill and Fender's Ballroom but smaller clubs have picked up the slack by giving touring bands a place to play in our city.
One of these unlikely venues is a record store called Fingerprints, located in the East Village.
Fingerprints Records, having secured their place in Long Beach music lore with an intimate performance by the Foo Fighters on Record Day, played host Tuesday night to local singing sensations, The Fling.
Following is an interview with The Fling’s Dustin Lovelis (guitars, vocals), Graham Lovelis (bass, vocals) and Justin Roeland (guitars, keys, vocals).
Daniel deBoom: The Fling is in good company at Dangerbird Records (artists include The Dears, Boots Electric, Minus The Bear).
How did you come about signing with them?
Dustin: We released a record last august and Dangerbird got a hold of it. They had a good reputation and were really excited about the band, so it seemed like a good fit for us.
DdB: In the past The Fling recorded and released music on the band’s own Lady Monk Records label. Do you give up any artistic control when you sign with an outside label?
Graham: Not really. They might have opinions on things but ultimately it's up to us.
Their ideals and ours pretty much line up anyways.
DdB: Last night you held the record release party for ‘When The Madhouses Appear’ at Fingerprint’s, which is fast becoming the premier venue to see live music in Long Beach.
How was your experience there?
Dustin: It was great. Feels good to have their support. I buy records at Fingerprints all the time and have seen a lot of great in-stores there.
DdB: How did the title of your new record come about?
Graham: It's from a song I wrote on the album called "Day I Find." It just seemed to sum up the way we felt most of the time trying to get the record done...insane. Lot's of late nights
and lost tracks. We learned a lot about the whole process since we did it all on our own.
DdB: How has the music on this record evolved from what you’ve written before?
Graham: I think our stuff changes all the time but we never really think about it. There are four songwriters in this band now with Joel joining so it will always remain eclectic. We're already recording a new EP and it's sounding a bit different. We're getting a little heavier, but still doing acoustic stuff.
DdB: Why release your music on vinyl? Which hidden messages revel themselves when the record is played backwards?
Graham: It's bigger which is better for artwork and it sounds better. It's not disposable. If you play the album backwards
you can hear us doing 12 different a cappella renditions of "Only Wanna Be With You" by Hootie and the Blowfish.
Dustin: You can't buy a vinyl and put it in your laptop and listen to it on those shrimpy speakers. Darius Rucker actually does some guest vocals on those backwards Hootie renditions. The sessions were a real riot. Lots of hard drugs.
Justin R: You can't listen to a record in your car, which is the worst place to hear music anyways. It's like an afterthought, or trying to read a book while getting a root canal. Buy some cans, turn off the lights, float away.
DdB: What are the Fling’s roots?
Graham: Mostly brunette.
Dustin: Root Beer
DdB: I mean how did the band get together?
Dustin: Graham and I have the same parents so we grew up playing music together. I had known Justin Ivey from previous bands. Justin Roeland used to be my chimney sweep, turns out to he was also a virtuoso on guitar.
Justin R: I still sweep for fun sometimes...beats surfing.
DdB: Which musicians, if any, influence The Fling, both as a band and as individual members?
Graham: I like it all. Tom Waits, Elliott Smith, Hieroglyphics, Misfits, Black Flag, Flaming Lips, R. Kelly.
Dustin: Robert Pollard and Frank Black.
Justin R: Steely Dan...he's great
DdB: Any plans to tour behind ‘When The Madhouses Appear’? Any upcoming shows we should know about?
Dustin: We should be touring quite a bit this summer. We have a show June 5th at a park in downtown Long Beach. *
DdB: Which song written by another performer do you most like to cover live?
Graham: I'd like to do a Chickenfoot song.
Dustin: We used to cover Gillian Welch's "Miss Ohio." I think that is the only cover we have ever done.
DdB: Which question are you never asked but wish you were?
Dustin: Which question are you never asked but wish you were?
* June 5th at Promenade Square Park (Sundays in the park with SAM)

Lit by my computer screen...which I admit was plugged into the wall, since I don't have a laptop.
Given that it's currently Earth Hour, I sit and ponder our efforts to make the world a greener place. Because we make efforts like this once a year, to cut out electricity for one hour, but we still buy 3-ton pickup trucks and bottled water, and toss our coffee cups and cigarette butts on the ground, and leave our office building lights on all night, and protest installing wind power plants so far off shore that they'd be barely visible...
And then I read in the paper that one woman's significant efforts to cut her energy consumption only reduced her electricity bill by a few dollars. How demoralizing is that?
And I'm of split opinion on the issue, myself...because I'm aware that our efforts are supposed to be done with the future in mind...but it would help if at least some of our efforts were rewarded during our lifetime, too. Even if only in the form of an electricity bill that shows that we made an effort to reduce our consumption and be more careful.

SILVERTONE CLASSIC GUITAR - BAROQUE MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS - GUITAR PRINT.
Silvertone Classic Guitar

Jam
Classic guitar. Legend. The man is my God.
You can have your favorite musician, band, artist...but I don't care who they are they just don't compare to mine. Hands down...the greatest musican E V E R...yep I said EVER....mean it too. May even go so far as to let you have allllll other musicians if I can just have CI. How people don't know who he is blows my mind. Helllooooo...Ever.
Ok so I heard you couldn't take pictures...so I only covertly took 242 shots. Now, shut up, 6 of those are NOT of CI so it's not like I'm completely obsessed with the guy or anything. =) Took two completely illegal videos, but come on, he was singing one of my favorite songs which I didn't expect to hear (You Don't Cry Like I Do). But, they are totally for me and won't be posted anywhere so I figure that's a good concession...course maybe if I totally violate a bunch of laws he'll come after me....hmmmmmm. =)
Luckily I have a wall (or two) dedicated to my man here. And this is SO going up. Not that I'm biased at all, but this shot rocks in color but so classic in B&W...course with some subjects they are great even blurry. =)
Swwwweeeeet.........

Hidden Bighorn
I looked everywhere out west for a Bighorn Sheep. On our last day at Zion during a rest, I added the extender to the 70-200mm and just shot up high hoping I would discover a Bighorn when I got back home and processed those shots. Not 100% sure, but I think I might have possibly found one, not that you can even tell what it is.
If you hover over the photo you can see where I think see the Bighorn. It also gives you a sense of perspective of how huge these rocks are.
*Update: upon closer inspection, no Bighorn is seen.
Bighorn
Balanced Rock and Ham Rock Butte in the background.
one of those moments when a camera with a telephoto lens would have come in handy.
The bighorn kept a watchful eye on me as i hiked away from the group.
haziness is due to snow melt humidity.

Ein Stein gewordener Trompetenstoß - Schloss Raesfeld - A trumpet-blast turned to stone
Raesfeld Castle, View from the Southeast to the Main Building with its Tower - Art historian R. Klapheck named the impressive tower with its three-levelled copula "a trumpet-blast turned to stone".
Raesfeld Castle is one of Germany's most beautiful moated castles. It is located in the district of Borken in the western part of Muensterland, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. - Raesfeld village is first mentioned in a document from the 9th century. The present day castle goes back to a castle built in 1259. It had been extended several times in the following centuries.
Today the castle is property of the handicrafts organisation of North Rhine-Westphalia. The main building in the photo holds the Academy of the Crafts, where specialists in the crafts are trained.
23%20The%20Bridesmaids,%20Parliament%20Square%20Edinburgh
This is a visually provocative photo of two ‘bridesmaids’ standing in front of the Lothian Chambers (where wedding ceremonies and other civic events are held) in Parliament Square, Edinburgh, Scotland. Here, we have two women in seemingly gothic garb- hot pink and black short tutu dresses, black high heels and one of the women is smoking a cigarette while walking. There is a train of a pink wedding dress in front of the women, which indicates that the maids were possibly following the bride; however, we are not sure since the photographer has chosen to focus only on the maids. Now, what makes this photo quite provocative is the fact that Parliament Square is the resting place of John Knox, the leader of the Protestant Reformation in Scotland who held strong views against female authority. He even published a book entitled The First Blast of the Trumpet against the Monstrous Regiment of Women which spoke against women leaders in government. I am sure that Mr. Knox may have disagreed with the bridesmaids ‘unholy’ stature; yet, by capturing this gritty and raw moment in time, the photographer makes a statement about the liberation and evolution of women.
