A Natural Healthy Method To Enhancing Your Vision

The eyes really don't exist in isolation. They are an important element of your overall being impacting and being swayed by the mind, spirit and conscience.

All portions of the visual system - the eyes, the muscles around and in the eyes, the neurological pathways to the brain plus the visual centers of the brain- all demand lots of precision and control to operate properly. Due to the fact it is a real fragile system it is very easily left open to deterioration and impact by weariness and anxiety, irrespective of where it comes from. 1. Physical vision

1. Physical eyesight involves more than just 20/20 vision. For you to be able to interpret an image, 3 different skills are involved:

Firstly - at any instant your visual field is huge and your mind must decide what to focus on. This is skill 1 - central and peripheral balance

Following this first step, your eyes carry out the process of visual focus, where you are able to see one particular object with precision and clarity. This is known as the step of Binocularity

Next, your eye muscles either contract or relax to bring the object into visual focus. Skill 3 - The act of focusing itself

For all the above to work, the eye musculature must be in good working order, being relaxed and supple.

If you are not in a state of relaxation, your eyes will be subject to a multitude of problems, not least of which is an inability to focus.. Some of these difficulties might include: headaches, eye strain, nausea and generally feeling unwell.

2. Your mind's eye and inner vision. This involves: memory, imagination, inner seeing, hopes and dreams. Training your inner vision and mind's eye will take you miles beyond 20/20, by improving your concentration, imagination, memory and ability to visualize and think creatively. In general, you will be able to see and intepret things more clearly, so your ability to see things in a positive light will improve. You will replace limiting images of yourself with a clearer and more positive sense of who you are.

3. Emotinoal seeing is the least important of the three, but still useful. Improving your emotional vision is to truly open those 'windows to the soul', allowing you to develop more powerful relationships with others by being more open and expressive with your eyes.

Two important factors that are involved in poor vision include stress/tension and the acquiring of harmful visual habits over time. This can lead to a vast range of eye conditions, a few of which include amblyopia, myopia and computer eye strain.

Glasses and contacts treat the symptoms of poor vision very effectively: when you put them on you temporarily get rid of poor vision. Contact lenses and glasses however, are not able to fix the basic cause of your poor eyesight. Instead, you find yourself wearing thicker and thicker lenses over time as your vision deteriorates further and further.
