Phoebe turns 2 years old today!
Oh my! Phoebe looks just sooooooo happy wearing her birthday hat (Not!).
Phoebe turned two years old today, 17April11.
This time Phoebe and Zeus were not going to sit even for grass-fed New York steak in egg yolk. Phoebe didn't even care about her presents.
I don't know if it's because of a full moon tonight, or they weren't worn out like at Zeus' party where they had a run in the park before the party, or it was just too soon after the last party.
Next year we are going to have one party for both kitties on the last Saturday of March.

This is the beautiful Phoebe that has built a nest right outside the front door of my home. She stays in the nest whenever it gets dark to keep the eggs warm and the rest of the time she is close by to guard the nest. Her mate is always close by as well. Her mate shows the female potential nest sites, hovering in front of a likely spot for 5 to 10 seconds. The female makes the final decision about where to place the nest and does all the construction. Clutch size averages 1-6 eggs.
