Winching Felix
A great view of the set-up. Beginning from the left side of the photo: static line - shackle (hard to see but is on the end of the static line) - snatch block - wire rope from winch in Felix's bumper thru the snatch block back to a shackle on the bumper. The overall length of the wire rope is 80 feet. I moved the truck so we would be using most of the length and winch the truck up the hill about 30 - 35 feet total distance.
