Atop My Mountain II
Nikon FE with Kodak Ektar 100 negative film. I climbed this mountain the morning after arriving at Silver Streams. I swung the tripoded FE over my shoulder with the 35-105 on it. I put the 15mm f3.5 in my left jacket pocket and the 200mm f4 in my right with the 2x teleconverter. I had the Retinette in an inside pocket.
The great thing about this old manual gear is that it is not only precise, it is small and it is well built. I could never have climbed up here with one of my camera bags over a shoulder but I didn't feel burdened by what I did bring.
Magic time.
Probably the 25-105
Light fog with a hint of crazy...
This photo doesn't do tonight's weather justice. I spotted the kilometer high cloudbank coming off the ocean on my way home from work and took a detour up signal hill. I would've killed to have my camera bag with me, but had to make do with the point and shoot stashed in my pocket. 4 image pano.
