Try to put your happiness before anyone else's, because you may never have done so in your entire life, if you really think about it, if you are really honest with yourself.
I've gone into hundreds of fortune-teller's parlors, and have been told thousands of things, but nobody ever told me I was a policewoman getting ready to arrest her.
Before you do anything, think. If you do something to try and impress someone, to be loved, accepted or even to get someone's attention, stop and think. So many people are busy trying to create an image, they die in the process.
We need anything politically important rationed out like Pez: small, sweet, and coming out of a funny, plastic head.
We learn and grow and are transformed not so much by what we do but by why and how we do it.
Have you ever observed that we pay much more attention to a wise passage when it is quoted than when we read it in the original author?
The toughest question has always been, "How do you get your ideas?" How do you answer that? It's like asking runners how they run, or singers how they sing. They just do it!
