getting carried up to bed, sometimes several times if he thinks i'm not coming right up
getting a lift on and off the bed at any time of the night
a water bowl in our bedroom and sometimes lifted up to his mouth on the bed to drink.
having portions of the meal time meat cut up and ready for him
knowing his mommy will zip to the store, 2 minutes before it's going to close, when she realizes she is out of ham to wrap his medicine in
not having to bark when he wants in..he just stands staring at the door and completely knows we will open it
and scooching up on the couch and moving whoever is in his spot out of the way... gotta love that!
running to his grandmas and standing at the fridge til she opens it and finds some nice roast beef or chicken ....it works everytime....
why the special treatment? well, he's always been spoiled but....2 1/2 years ago after extensive cancer surgery the vet gave him 3-6 months and well let's just say we wanted to give him the best care possible... and YAY, he's still HERE, getting the best care... lol.. arthritis is hard on an old boy. plus he has a heart condition and fluid around his lungs... he has to be pampered. :) some/many would call us CRAZY. :)
