Area 2 - Bookshelf and Cutting Table (folded down)
I love my cutting table. When there's not stuff in front of it, I can throw the tablecloth back and bring up the leaf in the front, so I have a surface to work on (cutting smaller sewing projects for example). If I am doing something that requires more space, there's a leaf on the other side too. I can pull it out (it's on wheels) and put up both leaves. When the floor space is clear, there's plenty of room to have it unfolded completely and still move around the room.
The bookshelf may trade spaces with the Chest of Drawers from Area 3. It's shallower, so won't be quite as imposing in the doorway area, and the height means I won't be as tempted to drop something on top and intend to "put it away later." The books need culled again, so that all my art related books can live on it.
Wires In The Walls Customized
We were supposed to stick our set lists in the station director's box for "review"...which generally meant the garbage, accumulating UNDER the table the box was on, used as scrap paper...but still, I felt that the 81/2 x 11 sheet with its tiny lines to write in just wasn't cutting it for me, especially since I liked to write my sets in Sharpie black. I made a stack of 11x17 super-sized sets along with some clip art from my man-satchel. What you see above is a folded down version of the back side of one of the sheets. DJ Crab Crunch in da' house! Oh yeah, and Maxcy Hall..where we broadcast from..used to be an orphanage and was said to be HAUNTED..hence the ghosts and stuff.
