The Ambassador Hotel
- The Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, California was a landmark hotel and location of the Cocoanut Grove nightclub until demolished in 2005. The hotel was the site of the June 1968 assassination of presidential candidate, United States Senator, and former U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy.
- Designed by Earl B. Scott & K. McDonald, the Ferris Harriman Hotel and Theater, was completed in 1911. An addition was completed in 1922, and in 1923 the hotel was renamed Hotel Ambassador (later, Ambassador Hotel), and in 1929, the theater was converted to a garage.
- The 310 West Church Street Apartments (also known as the Ambassador Hotel) is a historic site located at 420 North Julia Street in Jacksonville, Florida, United States. On April 7, 1983, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
The Ambassadors Hotel, Cork
The next day we headed to the train station and an Intercity train for Cork. After arriving in the pouring rain, we finally found our hotel (no thanks to Google Maps which sent us off in the wrong direction) which was up a very steep hill. Still it was 4*, very nice and we got it at a very good price to boot.
