Once upon a time, circa 2000, I got some pretty awesome seats to a Detroit Red Wings game. Little did I know that the moment would be captured forever in a special insert in the Detroit Free Press one Sunday. Can you find the high school version of Joe in the picture?

My best man, Ryan, should have been sitting directly to my left in the picture. But he left his seat before this picture was taken to get us some Little Caesar's pizza.

An emotional farewell!

Many of these boys played their final game for their school on Friday night against one of their toughest opponents - Bishops. I am glad to say Rondebosch won - but it was very emotional after the game when the whole school surrounded them and they all sang the school song for the final time as players for their school!
