KENSINGTON HOUSE HOTEL IN LONDON : HOTEL IN LONDON
Kensington house hotel in london : Disneyland hotel prices. Kensington House Hotel In London
Dylan Apartments Kensington Last week I was in London and had booked via you website. I travelled together with my colleges and we were a group of 5 people. We were very disappointed and upset. Our experiences were really bad and if you don't believe to my words then look at my pictures. This is the worst place I ever have passed the night. Also I have been several times to London before. Here is my report about what happened there last week: We arrived on Wednesday 3rd August at 23:30 Dylan Kensington 109 Apartments because of our late arrival in Stansted Airport. We informed about this late arrival by e-mail a few day before! There was nobody at the reception! And we were confronted with closed doors. After a while we understood that we have to ring one of the telephone numbers, which were written on a paper. After a while (about 60 minutes after our arrival) a man came and opened the reception. He said he is not a member of the staff but he works for Dylan Kensington in night. For this service we had to pay a penalty of 50 Pound! And we would have to pay the whole price for our 2 days in advance. So far so good. But it was not allowed to him to show us the rooms before paying. A typical trap! Because in this situation we had no choice of course! We had to pay. Then we got the keys. But while paying I have seen the next shock: I had to pay a penalty of 5% of the whole amount because I paid with Mastercard. I cannot understand why! I have never paid such a penalty before! Do you understand such a behaviour? Is this possible by law, why and by which law? After getting the keys we went to the rooms but our rooms were situated in different buildings in opposite across the road!!! Our keys did not work to open the house entry this night but fortunately we could open the doors to our rooms at least. Next morning we could obtain correction of these defects! After entering the rooms we must see that the rooms are very tiny, much smaller then on the pictures. No place for the our luggage, no cupboard! And the situation of the furniture was really frustrating too. You will see on the pictures and understand! The location is near by the underground that is correct. But the hotel itself is situated at Warwick Road, which means a 3 lane main road with a lot of traffic all over the night. And there must be a hospital nearby because all the day and night long the diaphones of passing ambulances sounded! We discovered that a couple of pretty hotels are in that area in side streets in the neighbourhood. It's a pity but too late now! I hope my lines to you help at least to avoid more frustrated clients of you caused by that tricksters! Renaissance St Pancras Hotel London he Renaissance St Pancras Hotel is located adjoining St Pancras station (Eurostar and High Speed 1 terminus) and on the north east corner of central London. While this area is a little way from the main tourist areas and the surrounding vicinity somewhat downbeat compared to the more glamorous places the station itself provides some ultra modern facilities. These include the longest Champagne bar in Europe at 90 meters long. There are several restaurants and bars including burger bars, bakery, Brasserie, wine bar and a Gastro pub. For a quick bite many big name coffee shops/Cafes are located within the station. Shopping is also well catered for with an arcade and other shopping areas as well as its own market. This location does suit business travellers looking to have good access to the City of London which is a short taxi ride away or 7 minutes by train from the adjacent from Kings Cross station. The popular shopping area of Islington High Street is less than a mile to the east by lacks the glamour of the more central shopping areas such as Knightsbridge (2.4 miles) and South Kensington (3.2 miles). A mile to the north is the shopping High Street of Camden which includes an always busy market selling a range of items including trend setting fashions. The nearest tourist area for nightlife would be Covent Garden which is just over 1 mile to the south. Some other local places of interest include the British Library (opposite), Petrie Egyptian Archaeology Museum (0.5 miles) and Dickens House (0.6 miles). The large open Space of Regents Park is less than a mile along the Marylebone Road and is home to London Zoo.
