Unit 152
Unit 152 is a Chesapeake Energy natural gas rig located West of I-35 off Renfro St. in Burleson, TX. It is capable of drilling 2-3 miles underground using a method called hydraulic fracturing. As it does so it pumps back up the mud, muck and mire which averages a temperature of 130 degrees Fahrenheit. This is not due to the friction of the fracking but rather the heat of the Earth's mantle.
