The Painted Desert Inn National Historic Landmark overlooks the Painted Desert from Kachina Point. While the Inn once served as a lunch site and trading post for early travelers on Route 55, today it functions only as a museum and bookstore.

This is the Painted Desert Inn at Petrified Forest NP. I just had to get a shot of this with the LF camera, so this shot is really just for a meter reading again. Still, it's really convenient that my meter readings are so readily postable for web use! ;-)
