a sink!
yesterday the toilet and the sink were installed...oh, wonderful bathroom!
we opted for a pedestal sink instead of the cabinet style, it's a small room and the previous clearance from the door to the sink was a meer inch or so, it was ridiculous, with this sink you can enter the room normally instead of trying to wind your way around the sink. granted this means there is no storage below, but right around the door is the built-in cabinet that we kept as part of the remodel, with four drawers and four shelves, plus we're putting in a large mirrored medicine cabinet above the sink...plenty of storage for a bathroom.
1BR old floor
Our old bathroom floor. This was last replaced at least 25 years ago, and in the last couple of years it developed some cracks. When entire tiles started coming loose, we knew we couldn't put off fixing it any longer.
