In order to guarantee a level floor, we prepared cement guides over which we could drag our screed board. But before all that, an electrical plan had to be made and the conduits put in place. I chose to load the conduits with the necessary wires to save the trouble of dragging wire through them after the floor had hardened. The plastic, corrugated conduits can be seen snaking across the steel reinforcing grid and climbing the walls to anticipated switch boxes.

Note the huge hump in the screed, more noticeable from the other floor level shot. This meant having the breakup and remove the screed layer in that area and refill and level with something. I had lots of plaster, so i used that! A close shave here was realising that all the mains supplies to sockets had been layed straight in the screed layer. Quite sobering to come across them in the section i was applying an sds breaker to!
