When the Going gets Tough the Tough get Going
Angie, Raewyn and Brendan after completing the Rotorua to Taupo Flyer. After sitting and pedalling on a bike for over 4 hours with 3,000 other cyclists and with a head wind it was very tough for everyone. Even the support crew (Vern, I, Trudy and Vinessa's sister and brother in law) found it tough waiting for the riders to come in to the finish line.
R8077 at Burrard Station #98 Steveston & Shell
Peak period service extended to reduce dead heading to the operating centre. The B Line would run in revenue service to and from Richmond Centre along Three Road and Steveston Highway. This was a very useful direct service, and it was a practice common for trolleybus routes in Vancouver too. It is sad to see such customer orientation lost.
