Mountain Biking in Powell Butte Park
I shot this image a few months ago for the September issue of PDX Magazine. It should go without saying (though I'll say it anyways) that the photo was taken for an article on mountain biking. I was quite fortunate to have the incredibly talented Steve Van Pelt as my stunt rider and model.
Aside from some basic sharpening and cropping, there's been no Photoshop work to the image.
For you Strobists out there, my set-up was as basic as basic gets: Nikon D200 camera, a Vivitar 285 strobe on camera left, and an "el cheapo" e-Bay trigger to fire the strobe.
Mazda RX 7, Magazine Ad / Anzeige, AMS 1979
The driver says: "I think not only the styling of this Mazda is cool... have a look under the hood."
That could be interesting because this Mazda RX 7 is driven by a rotary engine aka Wankel engine.
And please ignore the guys mustachio. It was height of fashion in the late seventies. And the girls on the bike seemingly like it.
