¦ Spider on its web at sunset near the rural pathway from San Millan de Juarros to Mozoncillo de Juarros (Burgos, Spain).
The spider was quite small (fingernail size or less) so this is a macro image. The sunset light helped to highlight the spider itself over the darker out-of-focus background thus provindig for a nice bokeh and emphasizing the arachnid itself.
Taken handheld in available sunset light, the picture is absolutely unretouched and unprocessed, straight out of the camera (SOOC).

La arana era muy pequena (del tamano de una una o menos) asi que esto es una imagen macro. La luz del atardecer ayuda a resaltar a la propia arana sobre el fondo desenfocado y oscurecido proporcionando asi un bonito bokeh y dando enfasis al aracnido.
Tomada a pulso en luz ambiente al atardecer, la foto esta tal cual salio de la camara, sin retoque ni postproceso alguno.
Charlotte's Web
I noticed a pretty large web on a plant inside the house, rather than destroy the web and kill the spider as most would do I got my camera out and took some pictures for the "Characters Wanted" topic. This of course reminded me of Charlotte from the book "Charlotte's Web" by E. B. White.
