This is what the energy industry and the pro LNG lobby want sweep under the carpet.

Not only is LNG furthering the pollution but Australians are taking the risks in the name of national employment.

Importing cheap labour, exporting a fossil fuel to be burned and magically offset by carbon credits and an emission trading scheme.

All this into a regional area that has third world standard health care for the local residents of the Capricornia region. An area were people choose to make their money and then retire where the air is clean and one can afford to live on a pension or as a self funded retiree. None of this mentioned in true detail in the consultants insulting, sweep it under the carpet social impact matrixes and statistics.

Let's just win the next election boys and girls. Bugger the constituents we'll placate thenm with more election promises. A rant maybe.
