Wool Felt Rugs
- a 100% matted wool fabric that is opaque, durable and mainly used for drapes or sound control curtains.

Corner of felt rug
Corner detail of the felt rug that I made at a workshop with Mehmet Girgic using the Osman technique. I laid out my wool fibres on top of a prepared base (undyed wool and cotton), wet it out and then rolled, stamped and rolled again until the rug had shrunk by about 45%!
Wool rag rug
Same 3 epi, wool/nylon blend for warp.
Weft: Cut and dyed wool blanket, combined with other fabrics.
Machine wash.
