ISO1600 Experiments with common sights around the house.

By cranking up my ISO to 1600 I'm able to be really free with finding subjects to photograph around the house. By focusing on common stuff, the grain is not so important - we all know what we are looking at. I also try to make the compositions abstract allowing the grain to add to that feel. The last set were B&W, but I liked the blue tones of the dish washer basket and (for others in this series) the patterns on my plates, so I kept with a color version.
