New Islington Manchester-Old Mill Street approach
One of the government's "Millennium" villages this is a huge regeneration area within walking distance of Manchester city centre. This is the Old Mill Street approach with its shared one-level surface for cars and pedestrians. Street light columns have a "rust" finish, so I assume they are oxidised steel which makes sense given the area's manufacturing history. Reclaimed stone blocks create both seats and bollards.
