ARIZONA ATTORNEY GENERAL OPINIONS

This all-summer blooming flower is one of my favorites. Never have to dead head. Just water and enjoy!

Kristen {klb¦photography} tagged me and as I understand I'm supposed to tell 10 things about myself. Thanks, Kristen. I enjoyed getting to know you!

1. I graduated from Emma Sansom High School in 1975 and from Jacksonville State University with a B.S. in Education in 1995. (Some things just take a while:)

2. My husband and I moved 14 times in 18 years. No, we weren't running from the law or the landlords, he! he! My husband served in the US Army for 22 years. We lived mostly in the SE United States and 3 times in Germany. Lots of fun adventures.

3. I thought that I wanted to be a teacher. After graduating in 1995, I accepted a position to teach 5th grade. Only 4 days later, all the while not eating and sleeping much, I ran away from teaching. I couldn't take it. I ADMIRE ALL OF YOU WHO CAN DO THIS. IT'S THE TOUGHEST JOB OUT THERE!!!!! (Hey, Janice Wagnon, I'm your greatest admirer --- just don't know how you do it!)

4. Like Kristen, I call my mama everyday. Sometimes several times. I travel a lot with the work that I do, so I like to let her know when I'm off the road.

5. I'm 53 years old. I was born in 1956. The first movie that I remember seeing at the theatre was at the drive-in with my family. It was an Elvis movie. My mama loved Elvis, Dr. Ben Casey and Dr. Kildare. So, of course, we girls did, too.

6. I fell in love with my husband almost as soon as I saw him! He was an Army recruiter looking for young men to recruit from my high school. Lean, sharp, man-in-uniform . . . uh . . . you get the picture:)

7. We only had one child. He's my Sammo aka Buck aka Bonzai Buck. He loved, and I guess still does, Thundercats, He-Man and all other super heroes. I'll never forget the day that I unthinkingly told him that Lion-O was not real. Lion-O was injured and Sam was distressed. I thought I was helping to ease the pain. His little eyes were so sad when he said, "You mean he is not alive? The Thundercats are not real people?" Oh, man --- that was rough. I'm sorry Sam. Sam grew up to be a fine man. He married his sweetheart (our dear Jenny) and together they are lovingly and beautifully raising Susannah.

8. My husband, our poodle and I enjoy our quiet evenings. We all feel our age now. We move a little slower, especially after sittin' a spell. But, we do love outdoor activities. (Not Fifi the poodle, but Mark and I). We like to play a little tennis, take easy to moderate hikes, and putter around in the yard.

9. I like to have a good balance of work, play and sleep. I'm self-employed, so I have a little flexibility in my days. A perfectly proportioned day is about 7 hours of work, about 8 hours of play, and about 9 hours of sleep. Now that doesn't happen very often, but it is greatly appreciated!!!

10. Photography is the place where I can be totally me. I don't have to meet client expectations or deadlines. I don't have to entertain anyone. I don't have to worry if someone likes it. I can be me. Not knowing it all. Not being the best, just being and loving it:)
