Day 337: I'm Handy My washing machine flooded my apartment last Thursday. My Dad and I researched the issue on Saturday and ordered a part. It arrived today. I promptly took the control panel apart and figured out how to remove the timer assembly. But then a tricky clip got in the way of the knob removal. I figured it out, though. And now I am doing laundry and so far, so good. I'm waiting to see if I possibly need a water level switch as well. I hope not. But if I do? I'll install it, too. The end. Bonus Secret: Butter Knife Repair This bonus secret is brought to you by my washing machine which started making weird noises today and won't drain the water. I genuinely believe that I can repair things around the house with the aid of a butter knife, which is usually the "tool" I go to first instead of my rather inadequate tool kit. If I can just pull something apart work out how it works, then I can fix it... this is my theory.
