When Worlds Collide
This Pacific Walrus had an intense curiousity about the flash accessory I was using on my camera. I assume this since it was the first time I'd shot the walruses with serious flash equipment and the reaction was what you see. (Did you notice his nose smushed into the glass?) So far in my own collection of pics I don't have any where the walruses have shown enough curiosity to float into the glass until their nose is smashed in like this. They know perfectly well where the glass is and skim right along it as a matter of routine. I'm speculating that it could be the brightness or size of the flash, or it could be that as the flash bounced off the glass towards the people that it gave him a better view of us humans down in the dark hole.
* Sealife *
We went to Scheveningen last weekend.. We visited 'Sealife'. There you have all kinds of fish.. Sharks, colourful fish, lobster, etc. Very cool to see!
It was very hard to take a good shot, because those fishes move a lot!!
Have a nice weekend friends! :)
