Vehicle saga! Civic, just serviced, proved undrivable. Andy made an executive decision overnight to take the Mitsi and thoughtfully not only removed some pungent carpet underlay, but provided an air freshener thingy. Which Viv positioned carefully in her space! So off we went, eye on the temperature gauge, wondering if the car's last service was in 2006 or 2005 and would it make it... Quite nostalgic, actually; felt like being 20-something again!

The hardwood is going to be installed on Monday, May 29. The day before we removed the carpet and underlay from the family room. Here Yvonne is pulling staples left from the underlay.
