Repino
The dining room in Ilya Repin's home. The round dining table had a large "lazy susan" in the centre with a drawer below the table at each diner's seat. Repin's guests enjoyed a fine meal, opened the drawers to place all their dirty cutlery and crockery within, then sat back to enjoy cigars, fine wines, chat and laughter. After the guests had enjoyed a most salubrious evening and retired to their accommodation, household staff could then clean out the drawers and tidy up the dining room.
More Flowers!
Another picture of some Flowers in the gardens surrounding the villa in Portugal. These flowers were near the outside dining table which was round and had a lazy susan in the middle. The occasional argument did occur because of the lazy susan but it was still fun!
This was again taken with George's Canon DSLR. This was actually the first picture I took and although some of the picture is out of focus, the purple flower in the middle is clear and makes it stand out, which I love.
