Apparently I'm not allowed to kayak at this spot. I've been kayaking here for the past year and have had DPW and Fire Department workers acknowledge me and not one tell me I'm not allowed to. There are no signs posted and on Wikipedia it even says you are allowed to launch kayaks here. Well I'm not going to argue, I was let off with a warning but apparently next time I will be arrested for "violating local ordinance". Arrested for kayaking? What has this world come to...
