golan heights we drove through the golan heights, the clouds were low and heavy. it looked stunning. the sad part bout this place are those little yellow signs on the fence that runs most places along the roads: a big part of the golan height is still covered with land mines, and you're told to stay out. there is cattle herding in these fields, though, and every now and then one will step on a landmine. sometimes it even happens to humans: last week a boy lost his foot when he walked on a landmine. the government/army say they don't have the resources to remove the landmines, but some people believe it's a question of will, that they leave them there, just in case the syrians will make a military claim to have the golan heights returned. Heights of the Late Fall This is Urabandai Heights spreading through the foot of Mount Bandai. The foot of the heights does not yet turn red, A season of Urabandai advanced very much.
