Solid Black with Laser Engraved Batman Symbol Tungsten Carbide 9mm Wedding Ring Fashion Band Size 10.5
This ring comes with a Free Velvet Pouch and is ideal for both men and women.
Tungsten is a very hard and dense metal with a hardness between 8.5 and 9.5 on the Mohs hardness scale (diamonds are a 10 - the highest). Its density, similar to that of gold, allows Tungsten to be used in jewelry as an alternative to gold or platinum. Tungsten Carbide is about 10 times harder than 18k gold, four times harder than titanium, twice as hard as steel, and is the only rare and exotic metal that can be permanently polished. Your Tungsten Carbide ring will maintain it's virtually scratch resistant polished finish for decades when subject to normal wear.
*Please note: Tungsten comfort-fit bands run a half size larger. For a better fit, order a half size under your regular ring size.*

Our wedding rings
Our wedding rings are just so exquisite, but there is just such a story behind them, and I'd really like to share it.
Originally we had designed our own wedding rings. We did the design in February 08 and went into Michael Hill in Palmerston North to have them made. We let them know that we didn't want them until December for the wedding and that we could pay the deposit and then pay the rest closer to December. We paid our deposit [and a fair sum it was too!] and thought we were all set.
We were very wrong. In May I got a call from the store saying that our lay-by was up and we had to pay for the rings ... I was astounded. This was the first we had heard of a lay-by, we hadn't signed a lay-by agreement, we had signed a design and make agreement with no terms of payment or pick-up, plus the entire store knew our wedding date and our plan to pick up in December .... this was crazy! We discussed it though and it all seemed fine. Then about 2 weeks later I got another call saying that we had to pay the balance and pick up the rings within 2 days or they were going in the cabinet for sale. Remember we had designed these ourselves! And so we lost our wedding rings. I talked to the area manager, asked to speak with her boss but of course he never got back to me, and they really upset us.
Of course, things do work out eventually. We were in Sanders Jewelers in Remuera when we saw rings similar to this. We asked if he could re-create them with channel sets and ended up with these exquisite two tone gold, 5 channel set princess cut diamond wedding rings. Thanks to Sanders for these stunning rings ... we love them even more than our original design!
my wedding ring
I designed it myself. On the outside there is written in fat letters: POST NUBILA PHOEBUS. That means "After clouds comes the sun!".
It is made of the gold from my grandmas wedding ring (she passed away when I was 6 years old.) The diamond is the diamond from her ring, too.
Around the diamond there is a ring of white gold.
My husband has this ring in the same way, but without the diamond. His letters on the outside can?t be read propperly anymore, because at his job as a welder it?s getting rough...
I love this ring and I am glad that it is so unique. Nobody else then us has this ring. That?s why I didn?t want a ring from a jewelry store.
We got married on 8th October 2004! Soon 4 years!!!
