Sunglasses Avenue Review

I stopped for a bite of lunch here before heading over to check out Pedestrian Sunday.
The gentleman that owns the restaurant stopped to speak to me briefly. At one point he asked me what I did for a living. I didn't quite catch what he said to me since he has a fairly heavy accent and was talking quite quickly but he either asked if I worked at a restaurant or if I wrote about restaurants. If it was the second one, maybe he thought that because of my camera on the table and thought I did reviews/blogs or something like that. lol!

This old viaduct was part of a freight line that once ran all the way to Milwaukee. It was torn down some time around the turn of the decade. Note the old CTA Wilson Avenue Shops (destroyed by a mysterious fire in October, 1996) at right.
