BICYCLE TUBE 700C. COMMUTER BIKE HELMETS. Bicycle Tube 700c
My Atlantis My Atlantis bicycle. It's a 68cm, the largest Rivendell made at the time (they no longer do the 66 or 68cm Atlantii, but do make a 72cm A Homer Hilsen now with double top tubes), just look at all that headtube! Those are 700C wheels. My Atlantis isn't particularly unique for Rivendell fans, the notable bits being my 1975 Brooks Professional saddle and the 1977 Phil Wood front hub, both of which I bought new at the time. Most serious cyclists would look with disdain on my kickstand but I love them so and have upgraded to the two-legged Pletscher/ESGE Swiss model. Another quirk of mine is the stem-mounted computer; keeps the handlebars clear, you know. I switched to a B-17T saddle right before they jacked the prices because, you know, it's important to save 100g on a bike equipped like this. Finally, the upright water bottle is the no longer available Jong Won JSB-500 which will keep ice water or gin and tonics cold for hours on the hottest days and coffee nearly too hot to drink after an hour riding in the winter. This photo is by one of the bridge piers for the Short Line Bridge over the Mississippi, on the east bank. Every Rose And the wild roses it turned out. Kurt discovered he had a half flat tire from a slow overnight leak, and went to patch it, and snapped off the valve, and swapped in his spare tube. I was going to give him my spare 700c tube (I carry both 700c and 26" in my toolkit so I don't have to think about what bike I'm riding...), but it turned out I had two 26" tubes!
