AMAZING BABY CD

Monday, January 11th: what would've supposedly been a regular bi-weekly visit to my OB ended up to be my actual delivery date. I wouldn't deny that Bri and I sorta plan to make this day the birthday for our first born. We decided for me to be on NPO the night before and take our chance to ask my OB the following day for me to deliver the baby (PIH getting worst) in case he is free of meetings-- yeah right... on a Monday? Being the Chief Medical Director for OB that he is??!! Sure ... and to our surprise he said YES and did the C-section! So from his office we went straight to OB Triage and waited. No, scratch that. We went straight to Babies 'R Us to get feeding bottles!! (Why oh why??) I guess i got too scared that once the baby's out, she'll get too hungry waiting for my breast milk....Oh but they have formula in the hospital! DUH. Ok blame it on the sudden surge of nervousness and over excitement that we will be meeting our little one so soon! :) so from BRU i asked Bri to swing by KFC and get food for him and mom (I don't want any of them passing out in case my delivery will take longer than expected)... so after so many stupid stops here and there, here comes my doc calling on my cell asking "Anna! Uhhmm where are you?!!"

Maya turned nine years old last week. Man, she's still that itty bitty baby I could carry and hold back when we all lived in Atlanta. Time flies.
