Most people associate My Florist Cafe with the huge sign atop the roof of the building on 7th Ave. & McDowell. For 49 years from 1947 to 1996, this building housed a florist that went by the name of “My Florist” and it sported this huge neon sign high above the building.

The building is now home to My Florist Cafe and Willow Bread Company, two very good places to get a bite to eat.
