On Tempelberg hill, in the ancient Granitz beech forests on the island of Rugen, Prince Wilhelm Malte I zu Putbus had a hunting cabin converted into a neo-classical hunting lodge between 1837 and 1851. The castle-like building has four round corner towers and a 38-metre central tower, designed by the famous architect, city planner and painter Karl Friedrich Schinkel (1781 ? 1841). The tower's viewing platform offers breathtaking panoramic views across large parts of Rugen island and neighbourhood.

Pe dealul Tempelberg, intr-o padurea secular de fagi din insula Rugen, Printul Wilhelm Malte I zu Putbus avea o cabana de vanatoare pe care a transformat-o intre anii 1837 si 1851 intr-un castel realizat in stil neoclassic. Cladirea are patru turnuri rotunde in cele patru colturi si un turn central cu inaltimea de 38 m, proiectat de renumitul architect, urbanist si pictor Karl Friedrich Schinkel (1781 ? 1841). Platforma turnului ofera vederi panoramice spectaculoase asupra insulei Rugen si imprejurimilor acesteia.

Cambodian Rice Noodle Soup w/Beef





At Apsara on Hope Street in Providence. We eat there at least once a week but sometimes as much as 3 x. My kids are very popular with one of the waitresses there.When we come in she greets us with "Hi Family!" if we are with any of our kids or, "Hi Mama and Papa!" if we are alone. She is Cambodian and has a 14 year-old son she supports on her own. It is a very warm environment and is almost always busy.

This soup is very good. Stu doesn't like the beef kind because he is pretty sure those large round things are some kind of organ meat. I like it. I also like the tofu vegetable version. It is very fresh but filling and warming on a cold winter day.
