Chinese tea tables, front and back

Chinese tea tables, front and back

The Windy City Club (a Hsinchu social club) used to meet in a cafe downtown. When the cafe had to close because the building was being renovated the proprietors sold off all the furnishings. I bought these two tea tables. The only thing I know about them is that they came from Mainland China.

I've spent hours on the net trying to find out where (which Province) they may have come from but I haven't been able to find any that looks like them. If you know anything about this style, I love to hear it.

Tea in the garden

Tea in the garden

Found image. Very good photograph of an Edwardian family having tea in the garden although it is a pity the tea table is a bit bleached out. The deckchairs have sunshadesattached. The garden appears large and the fence well-made and newish.
