Bouquet That Will Last
dd Some Day My Prince Will Come dd (Explored) Last night, Susannah (5 yrs old) ate dinner with her parents and family friends, which included Andy (4 yrs old). This morning she asked if we could make a wedding dress (to marry Andy). We found a dress at the thrift store for $1.79 that I "re-sized" with some cutting and sewing. We bought ribbon, tulle, and a hair comb at Hobby Lobby to create her veil. And finally, her bouquet was made from some silk flowers that I was about to throw away. Oh, the sweet life of a little girl with dreams of her future. And, oh the sweet life of a grandmother so totally in love with her granddaughter! most anxious bouquet - 5 cm x 4.7 cm After doing lots of work on preparations for our two recent gem shows and dealing with my not-so-good efforts to take photographs at those, I decided to fish-out a couple of the rough bouquet agates, from Tapado/San Carlos, cut them and polish one or two halves. This is the first of those and is actually one I took (whole) with me to Tucson the last time I went there, with the idea I would have something to trade, if the right opportunity presented to me. As you can see, someone missed out on a great agate and it will not be so easy to get from me now!
