Lombard Street in San Francisco
Lombard Street from afar. The curviest street ever. We drove down it and it was a hoot!
San Francisco sights in the late afternoon of June 24, 2008. I had a short time there with co-workers and we took a very quick tour. I like San Francisco for all of it's diversity in people, places and things.
Lombard Street
San Francisco's Lombard Street (between Hyde and Leavenworth, on Russian Hill) is called the "crookedest street on earth." People who live in those spaghetti-like streets above Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles may snicker, but tourists love it. Taken 1n 1978.
