Elephant Dung An opportune purchase at a none too distant market saw me in possession of this rather fine whole 'Haslet', best described as a 'giant salad faggott' to the uninitiated, although it does resemble in many respects a texbook specimen of elephant dung. Deliciously intended to be sliced and eaten cold with fresh salad or in a tasty sandwich with garnish of your choice. The eagle eyed among you will notice that in the absence of blue chequered napkins and coiled straw place matts that I have pressed into use non slip bathroom matts and carpet book samples as a substitute, although the elephant dung on a plate is resting on my kitchen chopping board. The Kitty Condo This is the cats' corner. We have given them that secretary-style cabinet, and made it what we call the Kitty Condo. It's a HUGE hit! That pole on the side... that is carpeted inside and out (it's hollow)... we call that the Cativator, lol, because that's how they get up and down. The back side of it has a wooden board all the way from one wall to the other, making a play to lie down and look out the window. This thing is so neat! *I* even want to play in it, lol.
