Pistol
I met this man outside of an antique store downtown. I was originally going to get some images of mirrors and furniture inside the store, but then this man walks by carrying a scooter under one arm and two bicycle tubes under the other arm. The man was very talkative and energetic when he saw the camera. He wanted a pack of cigarettes in exchange for me taking his portrait, but I convinced him that he would be "famous" in my class if he were to let me take a few shots. Never have I seen such raw emotion in one's eyes. It was as if he was telling me his life story in those few seconds. He introduced himself to me as "Pistol."
