At last, Maimie has the Bathroom She Has Always Wanted! 8/365 At last the bathroom in the Montgomery's 'New Home' is finished! They are still staying at the hotel, but Oswald has brought Maimie and Arabella here this afternoon to see the bathroom. He also has a surprise for Maimie! Secretly, he has had one of Mimie's paintings framed, to match the bathroom decor, and has hung it on the wall. Maimie is ecstatic! Maimie had thought long and hard about the bathroom decor. She had consulted an Interior Designer she had heard about in Norfolk, and the very helpful young lady had suggested keeping the red suite, which was in very good condition and bringing it right up to date using the colour pink! Not quite sure, Maimie had called a good friend in Lexington USA, who had totally agreed, and suggested some cool wallpaper and flooring. downtown thrifting: vintage bathroom cabinet there is a really cool thrift store less than two blocks from my apartment. I stop by every couple of days because, though not dead cheap, it gets some great donations. I think this is because there are only five thrift stores downtown and the store does pick ups, which is really rare round here. I fell in love with this salvaged gilt frame medicine cabinet/bathroom vanity. It's in mint condition on the mirror side and only has a little rust on the back, looks like it's only been in one house but for a long time. LOVE for $20...
