This is part of an assignment for college. The brief was to produce an ad that is a three part (or more) comp. The background had to be shot on 5 x 4 (large format) film/tranny and scanned, the subject on medium format digital and the third element could be anything. Of course, I chose a technically difficult subject to go and cut out, which was especially stupid as I'm rubbish at photoshop and have never cut anything out before today, let alone a lady with a veil in her fluffy hair! Anyway, several hours of cursing later, Martin Evening managed to guide me through (not the man in person - the video tutorial!) and here we are. The background was shot in Chalk Farm, the model on a Hassy at the Pro Centre and the text was a freeware one that was downloaded from t'interweb. (Subway Graph). Just have 5 more cutouts to go now and I think this was the trickiest so fingers crossed.
